How to reach us

By airplane:

The Airport of Pisa is near the city centre and it is served by major airlines. The Airport of Florence is the next closest airport to the city of Pisa. It is linked to the central train station (Santa Maria Novella) of Florence by shuttle buses and by train to Pisa. It takes about an hour to travel from Florence to Pisa.

 

Scuola Normale can be reached from Pisa Airport by taking the light train PisaMover to the train station and then walking to Piazza dei Cavalieri. 

Alternatively one can also take a taxi; the trip from the airport to the Scuola Normale costs about €15.

 

By train:

 

The main station is "Pisa Centrale", located in the city centre about 1 km from the Scuola Normale. Walking from the train station to SNS takes approximately 20 minutes.
